Located in Southeastern Alberta, Canada, the MD of Acadia No.34 is conveniently located along Alberta Highway 41. The hamlet of Acadia Valley is located within it and boasts a growing population and business industry. A strong petroleum industry, allows for large businesses to locate and employ many in the region. New houses and industrial developments are underway and will continue into the future. Community spirit is alive in this community, with many signature events held each year and is demonstrated in the continued support of the community operated Prairie Elevator Museum and Tea House.

Home of the Prairie Elevator Museum and Tea House

Visitors will be amazed at the authenticity of this fully restored working Grain Elevator. This Museum & Tea house is open during the summer months, and provides tours for those interested in finding out what goes on inside a Prairie Grain Elevator. Tea house and gift shop offers country style home baking and local artisan’s wares. The Prairie Elevator Society operates this fantastic attraction in Acadia Valley.
